These Brothers not only serve to inspire our members, but serve as a great source of pride for Phi Kappa Theta. The award was established in 1984.

Event History

Regional Leadership Conferences have been an ongoing evolution of facilitator led weekends focusing on actively developing our collegiate leaders. Started originally as the President's Academy through a grant from the Phi Kappa Theta Foundation back in 2001.

In 2011, we expanded the single event President's Academy into a regional format as an effort to grow the number of participants. Since 2011, we've had over 1,500 collegiate leaders attend these conferences.

This past December, we met with our 2017 Man of Achievement, Brother Donald 'Boysie' Bollinger (University of Louisiana at Lafayette, ‘71), and shared with him our vision for the next major evolution in our leadership development.

Starting in year one of this vision, we wanted to design an experience focused on the development of a brother's individual purpose. The long term outcomes will be Phi Kap brothers living purpose driven lives, positively impacting society, Fraternity and God.

Believing in this vision, Brother Bollinger has invested $300k, $100k a year over the next three years (2018-2020) to ensure our vision becomes a reality. Starting in 2018, the RLC's have been re-branded as the Boysie Bollinger Leadership Academy.
